  The hotel although fully occupied, it never seemed crowded and we never had to queue for anything. There was lots of outside space for eating at the main restaurant and at the lunchtime restaurant. There was even a non smoking section to the lunchtime outside area. With very few smokers it is a pity the hotel does not have a non smoking area for outside the main restaurant.

  What was good, was that one had to pay for pool towels if you require more than one per week which is a good way to save water & power for unnecessary laundry.

  Fab hotel with great evening shows. Highly recommend. Consider booking directly as Bahia are trying to avoid some of the ridiculous agency charges. You the customer benefits

  PS Staff were excellent, the cleanliness was wonderful and there was a heated pool allowing for all year use.

  On the downside, there is an exorbitant charge for WIFI at 19 Euro per device, so a family of five with five devices for a two week holiday would have to pay £160 extra. This is despite the fact that the main page of the hotel's web site says 'FREE WIFI'. (see screen shot below). There was also a charge of 4 Euros per day for the fridge giving a further cost of £50 for a two week holiday.

  By simply getting rid of the fridge and WIFI charge and installing a walk in shower for a few rooms for disabled people this hotel could at a stroke make itself worthy of it's 4 stars.

  The food, though rather 'anglisised' was good with significant variety from day to day. There are a lot of steps everywhere, which is fine for most people and the grand staircase between the reception and rest of the public area is very grand.

  There are lifts and ramps to all areas for disabled people but they are not very convenient. The fixed showers in the bath with a fixed screen and no hand holds could be a problem to some guests.

  For those with a hire car there is no free parking but I usually managed to find parking at the sister Hotel Guayarmina Princess, the facilities of which are available to clients at this hotel. The Hotel Guayarmina Princess also has a lift down to the esplanade. It is a pity there is no rear entrance/exit to the Bahia Princes allowing for easy access to the facilities at the Guayarmina Princess.
